Youth Theatre

What is Pier One Youth Theatre?

High-quality, dynamic theatre education that builds skills & confidence. Every student leaves with a new understanding of their own potential, and skills that will serve them in both the theatre and the world.

We pride ourselves on our ability to teach theatre skills while providing a unique, unforgettable experience.

Our camps offer kids a chance to be immersed in the world of theatre: a world of focus, experimentation, and creative play. These camps are driven by students' energy and ideas.

Through hands-on, open-ended practice, students gain social skills and learn about responsibility, self-reliance, cooperation, and empathy. Activities engage their bodies and minds as they stretch toward creative goals.

Pier One Youth Theatre is made possible in part by a grant from The Homer Foundation Opportunity Fund. Additional support comes from the Alaska State Council On the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and from contributions by community members like you.

Our Summer Offerings

We strive to keep our Youth Theatre offerings as affordable as possible, and offer tuition assistance where needed. If you would like to request a full or partial scholarship, simply select “Financial Aid / Payment Plan” instead of the camp name to register, and we will be in touch.

If you have questions about which camp is best for your child, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 907 - 226 - 2287.
