Skits wanted for CACS telethon
Comedic Nature Skits wanted for a live telethon fundraiser for the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies. We invite you to write and perform!
Using the following prompts, write a 1 to 3 minute skit and submit it to jennifer@pieronetheatre.org by Friday, July 3, 2020. All skits will be reviewed and up to eight will be selected for performance in the July fundraiser event. More information to come about COVID safe performance.
Entries from all ages are welcome! Feel free to be as wild as nature allows! For consultation and encouragement, call Jennifer at 907-299-3599.
Prompts
Crane watch. Crane dancing rituals, raising a colt, Crane meets Robin, steering the flock, etc.
Marine debris. Beachcombers discover something unusual, main character is a piece of debris, constructing art from debris, etc.
Kids day camps across the bay. Tidepooling, otter skeletons, a walk in the woods, etc.
Bay tours. An incident on the boat, from the birds perspective, otter life, what a whale sees, etc.
Wynn Nature Center. Moose calves in the spring, plants talking to one another, snowshoers in winter, etc.
