Kenai Peninsula Community Chorus Meets Tuesdays!

The Kenai Peninsula Community Chorus

an ad hoc community choir presented by Pier One Theatre.

What’s happening this season:

Director - Kyle Schneider • Guest Director - Mark Robinson • Accompanist - Ola Mullikin

Production Manager - Laura Norton • Assistant Production Manager - Beth Schneider

This fall, work begins on a selection of songs to be preformed in the spring (along with a few holiday tunes to be performed this winter in collaboration with the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra.)

The Rehearsal Schedule:

Meetings will be held on Tuesday nights in the Homer High School Choir room (in the theatre wing.)

October 24 & 31 (costumes welcome), November 7, 14 & 21, January 9, 16, & 30, February 6, 20 & 27, March 26, April 2, 9, 16, & 23

The Performance:

The performance will be held on April 30 at the Homer High School Mariner Theatre.

Fees and Stuff:

There will be a participant fee of $75 for the entire project ($25 for fall, $50 for spring if you wish to break it up) which will pay for accompanist and director time as well as venue rental. There will also be a small music fee but we will try to keep it to a minimum by choosing music in the public domain or in the HHS library to borrow.

Staying Healthy:

We will not be requiring vaccines or masks, but we ask that you stay home if you are experiencing new symptoms of sickness and follow CDC recommendations for COVID testing and precautions.
