Christina De La Torre has called Homer home since moving to the community in 2015 and brings a deep appreciation for the arts and their role in building connection and confidence. With a lifelong love of music and theatre, including her first time singing on stage at age seven and a high school choir solo from The Sound of Music, Pier One Theatre holds a special place in her heart, particularly through productions like Beauty and the Beast, where she experienced firsthand theatre’s ability to create meaningful community impact. Professionally, Christina is a co-owner and CFO of a local physical therapy practice, contributing financial and organizational perspective to the board. Her community involvement includes board and volunteer service with other organizations in Homer, and she is committed to helping ensure Pier One Theatre’s creative momentum and community presence continue to thrive for future generations.
