We tried having online tickets for a couple of years and then decided it wasn't working well enough to meet our needs:
1. It made major demands on our volunteer box office staff, especially when we don't even have electricty (let alone a computer) in our tiny box office outside the Pier One Theatre on the Homer Spit.
2. It cost you more money for each ticket.
3. It cost us more money for each ticket.
4. It did not increase ticket sales.
So, here's the system, in a nutshell. Tickets can be purchased in Homer at The Homer Bookstore, Etude Studio, or at the box office.
OR Call 907-235-7333 to make reservations and we'll call you back to confirm. Easy! No credit card required. If your plans change (for instance, if you can't make it back from across Kachemak Bay), just call back to change or cancel your reservations.
No up front charges, no tickets to exchange, no refund hassles!
Then, on the day of the performance, just show up at the box office outside the Spit Theatre and give them your name. You can pay with a personal check or cash (no electricity for a credit card machine).
